The Bus didn't stop while I was standing on the indicated place for persons with Disabilities

I was wating for my bus in the bus stop and was standing on the place that indicates I am a person with disability. I also had my white cane visible. I was alone in the bus stop. A bus came around the hour my bus should come but it went further without stopping. I can see a bit and clearly could identify that this is a city bus, but as I can’t see well I could not sign wave with my hand on time that it stops. This is why I stand on the place that indicates the driver that he is the one who sees me.
